Student days at The Brighton & Hove Business Show 2012
The Brighton & Hove Business Show, always pleased to welcome students to event days, saw a number of students this Autumn benefit from gaining work experience as well as visiting, who attend local colleges including Brighton & Hove and Lewes. Students meet hundreds of businesses, and gain a valuable insight into working in their chosen career choices.

You don’t have to be a large firm to take on an apprentice.
New measures to ensure more young people benefit from an apprenticeship, and to help employers gain the skilled workers they need to grow their businesses in future years for Brighton & Hove, Sussex Businesses.
The Government have announced new measures to encourage thousands of small firms that don’t currently hire apprentices to take on a young apprentice aged 16 to 24, the Government will offer employers with up to 50 employees an incentive payment of up to £1,500. This will support up to 20,000 new apprenticeships in 2012/13.
Processes will be simplified to make it quicker and easier for employers to take on an apprentice.
